An outdated CMS was making it hard for ZCS to scale and keep up

When Zero Systems approached us at Massive, their website wasn't working for them. They had a powerful platform of AI apps designed to automate data-heavy business processes, but were struggling to communicate the value of their apps to their users. Moreover, their clunky CMS was making it hard for their marketing team to keep up with an ever-evolving product lineup.

Transforming complex ideas into a more intuitive user experience

Zero needed to evolve their brand identity to reflect the modernity and business-centricity of their cutting edge products, an agile web design system to help them scale their website cohesively as the company grew, and a bank of value-driven illustrations that would help communicate abstract ideas.

Evolving the brand with scalable systems

We started by taking the "non-negotiable" aspects of their brand identity – in their case, the logo and the blue-teal gradient – and seeing how we could evolve it in a scalable, customer-centric way. Next we analysed their website’s content and imagery to understand how we could better communicate their value propositions and product benefits through UX and visuals. We got down to work, developing brand concepts that included their current logo and built upon their existing colour palette. We looked to key competitors and other AI products for illustration inspiration, focusing on creating building blocks that could communicate a range of value-driven benefits rather than highly-specific product-benefits.

At the same time, our UX team got to work, architecting a new site map, wireframes, page templates, and module requirements. The Design, UX + Content teams joined forces, and the new Zero Systems website was born! From there, we launched an MVP site and armed the client with an intuitive back-end module library so that they could gather data and determine how to improve their site performance and messaging.
